Jeannies Do Over Challenge Blog Hop

Jeannie K Dukic has her 4th Do Over Challenge blog hop.Jeannies Blog I don't enter too many blog hops because my job has been working me so much but I try doing one once in awhile so I can learn how to make jewelry. Jeannie sent each person that signed up a piece of her jewelry that she made in her beginning designer days. She sent me 2 teapot bracelets.

The teapot bracelets I received for the jewelry challenge.

You're supposed to use at least 50% of the original design and make something else from her piece of jewelry. I used the little glass teapot beads and the toggle clasp. To make the bracelet, I had some little brass tea bag charms that I got from B'Sue Boutiques. I took off the little eye on the charms that you use for hanging and then filed down the rough edge. On the bottom of the tea bags I painted some Swellegant Iron Metal Coating. I then attached the tea bags together with jump rings.

I had some copper headpins and little copper beads so I took those and added the little teapots on the headpins. Then I put the little teapots between the teabags.

I used the clasp on the bracelet but painted it with the swellegant metal paint first. I had this large link chain from some detash stash. Then I made a dangle with a cup charm that I bought from B'Sue Boutiques.

Thanks for stopping by.
